Office Manager

Julia serves as the Office Manager at the Surdna Foundation where she is responsible for managing the Foundation’s facilities to ensure efficient office operations, supply management and front desk responsibilities.  She is the liaison between foundation staff, guests and callers, playing an integral role in maintaining the Foundation’s professional image. She also provides administrative support to the Vice President of Finance and Administration and the Human Resources and Administrative Manager.

Prior to joining Surdna, Julia worked at Unipart Services America, a logistics company, for 13 years and gained valuable experience in relationship building, problem-solving techniques, as well as organization and time management skills.

As a leader in corporate social responsibility, she’s rolled out cost reductions and recycling programs, eliminating waste from processes. She has accomplished a 100% employee engagement level in charity fundraisers & events, with proceeds donated to various organizations such as:  Operation Smile, Salvation Army, Mahwah Food Bank, American Red Cross, and Operation Shoe Box.

Julia also served on two committees for the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce with a focus on raising funds for those in need.
