Gabriela Cinquegrana (she/her) serves as the Program Manager at the Surdna Foundation, supporting cross-departmental operations, projects, and collaboration.
Gabriela joined Surdna in 2018 as Program Associate for the Sustainable Environments Program, served as Special Assistant for the President’s Office from 2020-2022, and was promoted to her current role in January 2023.
Prior, Gabriela worked at Blue Bottle Coffee, where she could engage with her community through her love for food and agriculture. Earlier, she interned at Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture, and the Monteverde Community Fund. As she built her understanding of how business practices impact communities, Gabriela became interested in cooperative models and the broader ecosystem of social justice movements. She came to Surdna inspired by its mission to commit resources to organizers within social and racial justice movements across the United States.
She holds a bachelor’s in international studies with a concentration in economic development from The City College of New York.
