Geraldine Lopez (she/her) serves as the office assistant at the Surdna Foundation. Providing administrative support to staff to ensure seamless operations, she plays a critical role in keeping the office efficient, positive, and welcoming.

Most recently, Geraldine worked for A Thousand Stories Events, where she assisted in event logistics and day-of support for clients, including the Surdna Foundation. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Geraldine brings over a decade of customer service experience to her role at Surdna. Prior, she worked in retail and service managing inventory, pricing, food preparation, and client experiences for Bonavita, David Yurman, Amazon, and more.

Geraldine holds an associate’s degree in liberal arts and science from Hostos Community College. She likes to read, watch TV, and spend time with her three children.
