Caitlin Boger-Hawkins, a fifth-generation Andrus family member, joined the Surdna Board of Directors in 2015, served as its Vice Chairperson from 2020–2023, and was appointed Chair of the Board in November of 2023. She has 25 years of experience as a community college administrator and currently serves as Senior Director of Institutional Research at Connecticut State Community College. Her leadership in strategic planning and advocacy of data-driven decision-making support the college’s mission of teaching and learning excellence, the promotion of equity, and the advancement of positive change for students and communities.
Caitlin holds a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and a master’s from the Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She lives in Vermont and Connecticut with her husband and two children.
