Geraldine Lopez

Operations and Executive Coordinator

Geraldine Lopez (she/her) serves as the operations and executive coordinator at the Surdna Foundation. She provides administrative support to the president, staff, partners, and vendors, keeping Surdna’s operations running smoothly and its office positive and welcoming.

Most recently, Geraldine worked for A Thousand Stories Events, where she assisted in event logistics and day-of support for clients, including the Surdna Foundation. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Geraldine brings over a decade of customer service experience to her role at Surdna. Prior, she worked in retail and service, managing inventory, pricing, food preparation, and client experiences for Bonavita, David Yurman, Amazon, and more.

Geraldine holds an associate’s degree in liberal arts and science from Hostos Community College. She likes to read, watch TV, and spend time with her three children.
